Friendships

Many of our members have told us that making friends is one of the most important things for them while they are at Assist.

As well as helping people get on with others generally, we support members to develop and keep meaningful friendships and relationships with others.

We host lots of social events throughout the year; these include Christmas and Summer parties, as well as others like Bingo and Quiz nights. We are keen to encourage members to organise their own social gatherings, such as lunch out or a trip to the cinema and we provide as little or as much support as is needed to facilitate these.
