Who we are

Assist Trust is a Norwich based progression day service for adults with learning disabilities in Norfolk. The service runs from 2 different buildings in Norwich. Our primary base is at 20 Colegate, NR3 1BQ; and our other base is Lazar House, Sprowston Road, NR3 4HX.

We encourage our members to gradually take on responsibilities and support them to learn about expectations in the real world. This is achieved through offering a wide range of groups, which help individuals to speak up, build confidence and develop friendships with others.

The groups we offer also enable members to develop their independence skills around shopping for, preparing and cooking meals, managing money, being part of the wider community and developing work skills.

Alongside the groups we run, we offer supported employment opportunities; housing services and travel training programmes.

We are open as a service Monday to Friday, but close for approximately 2 weeks over the Christmas period.
