Work skills

Assist Trust provides employment opportunities for all members, through both internal and external placements.

Internal jobs include; emptying the waste and recycling bins, loading and emptying the dishwasher and going to the local shop to get milk, among others.

We work closely with over 30 employers to provide external work placements in the community including; Norwich Airport, Naked Wines, Edwards & Blake, Doughtys, CO-OP and many others.
We run employment themed groups to support members to learn relevant work skills including; CV building, Interview practice, support with job searching, filling out application forms and one to one and group roleplaying sessions to build confidence.
The supported employment team constantly endeavour to seek new opportunities/employers to support members to reach their full potential.
